The Local Transfer Manager will support and ensure the success of the Machine Transfer from different countries to Portugal.
The Local Transfer Manager is responsible to support and lead the transfer technicians and engineers team during the transfer process of the machines, this includes the dismantling, installation and run in of all Equipment, including test equipment and all related equipment to run production, also he/she is responsible of documenting the dismantling/ installation process of the machines and have a good tracking process of the transfer stages in order to succeed with the transfer.
O que terás de fazer
- Perform and document the technical assessment of the machines (machine knowledge, maintenance, machine documentation) and provides inputs to the GTT (Global Transfer Team) and follow up all the action plans;
- People management responsibilities for the transfer team;
- Responsible of the layout design/approval for machines to be transferred, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (QA, EHS, Facilities and VS);
- Work with GTT on expenses tracking and budget for the finance part of the transfer;
- Responsible of stablishing the forecast expenses for the transfer team, including training, travel, etc;
- Participate in all kick-off meetings of new / relocated machines;
- Work together with the GTT in the unload, movement and installation of utilities for the new machines;
- Work closely with Ramp-up Team and Operations Department on troubleshooting of machine/process issues, whenever is necessary;
- Represent the Local Transfer Organization in all transfer/training tasks outside the country, if required;
- Obtain all the technical knowledge and methods for new equipment’s (Technical training and self-training;
- Check, review and allocates all technical documentation of the machines and make sure it is available for all FEL departments that needs it;
- Track the KPI of all the transfer stages such as dismount/install/run in/validation;
- Define and implement within the plans the necessary processes to guarantee the availability of components, resources, tools and equipment to guarantee to stick to the promise dates of the transfer plan;
- Create the purchase order of the materials and spare parts during the installation process of the machines and track its delivery;
- Responsible of the suppliers working in the transfer process and the new machines installation;
- Responsible for the creation of Job descriptions and Training plans of all direct reports.
O que precisas de garantir
- Degree in Electrical Engineer or Industrial Engineer or relevant experience;
- 5/6 years of work experience in related positions, preferably transferring processes and/or managing projects;
- English Level: B2 – Upper Intermediate level (base on the scale of the Common European Framework) is a must.
- Experience in Team Management, at least 2/3 years
- Experience in Project Management, at least 2/3 years
- Analytical skills and Strategic mindset;
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings (electrical, mechanical);
- Knowledge in AutoCad and Solidworks, is a plus;
- Knowledge on interpretation of pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams;
- Experience on industrial automated machine maintenance;
- Be able to read, analyze, interpret and implement department procedures;
- Shown Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Be flexible and be able to deal with stress periods;
- Lead by example and demonstrate professionalism;
- Good communication skills.
