Job Type: Full-time contract.
Job Salary: Depending on the candidate's academic degree and professional experience.
Job Location: Porto, Portugal.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
The candidate will perform research activities within the Connected Things (Cyber-physical systems) group, namely in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. The candidate is expected to contribute to current and future projects related to cognitively connected solutions.
The candidate will work on the following tasks:
- Document and maintain software requirements;
- Document, execute and maintain test cases based on requirements;
- Develop and maintain UI tests;
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Candidates with experience in software engineering and testing are preferred. Experience in developing automated tests for mobile or web applications is highly regarded. The candidate will work in close contact with software development, so experience within this field will be highly valued. The candidate must be able to work autonomously and show excellent English communication skills.
Academic Qualifications:
Academic Master's degree or equivalent academic qualification in the area of Informatics and Computing Engineering.
Other Skills:
- Experience with test case management tools, such as TestRail or similar;
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or similar;
- Candidates experienced in automating tests of Flutter and/or Java (Spring Boot) applications using mocking tools such as mockito or similar is highly valued.
