Description:We are looking for a developer with strong knowledge and experience working with Java.
What You Will Do: Maintenance and development of a system.
Responsabilities:
• Maintenance and development of a system.
• Design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.
Must Have:
• Academic Background: Higher education or attendance in computer engineering, management information technology, data science and statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in software development.
• Languages: Minimum 3 years in Java 8 (or higher).
• Databases: Minimum 3 years with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc).
• Content Types: Minimum 3 years with JSON, XML, Protocol Buffers.
• Protocols: Minimum 3 years with REST.
• Fluent in Portuguese
Nice to Have:
• Message Brokers: Minimum 3 years in Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.
• Methodologies: Minimum 2 years in Agile.
Tools:
• Minimum 2 years with Git, Docker.
Languages & Soft Skills:
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written English (nice to have)
Location:
Can start remotely but planning to move to Portugal soon (Porto)
Working Model:
Hybrid (2/3 days at the client office)
