We are currently hiring a Tax Associate Lawyer. As part of a highly regarded team, you will work on highly challenging and complex transactions, related to a variety of legal disciplines.

- Tax Associate Lawyer provides legal advice on a variety of complex tax transactions and business matters. This includes advising private and corporate clients on tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and representing clients in disputes and litigation.

O que terás de fazer

- Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to clients, including corporations, partnerships, and individuals;

- Advise clients of local tax implications of various business transactions and financial decisions;

- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including tax opinions, memoranda, contracts, and agreements;

- Represent clients in tax audits, administrative proceedings, and litigation;

- Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, including assisting clients in maintaining tax compliance, including filing deadlines and required documentation;

- Drawing from multidisciplinary capabilities to help reduce risk and optimize value for the client throughout the deal life cycle.

O que precisas de garantir

- Qualified lawyer in Portugal with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience;

- Experience in international taxation, real estate projects, restructuring and corporate M&A;

- English and Portuguese proficiency.
