Responsibilities:
Develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Vert.x, and RxJava.
Work with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud, including services such as Firestore, Pub/Sub, and CloudRun.
Manage and process large streams of data with Kafka.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
Maintain and improve system performance, scalability, and security.
Use Git in a monorepo environment for version control and code collaboration.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Java and modern Java frameworks.
Experience with Vert.x and RxJava for building reactive systems.
Solid understanding of Google Cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Kafka for distributed messaging and data streaming.
Familiarity with Git (working in a monorepo).
C1 English proficiency for reading and understanding technical documentation and communicating with international teams.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Firestore (NoSQL database).
Familiarity with Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of CloudRun for serverless containerized applications.
Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
Working knowledge of Avro for data serialization.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
Valuable Skills:
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Familiarity with Bazel for build automation.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
Proficiency in using DBeaver for database management and queries.
Experience with Hexagonal Architecture for building maintainable and testable systems.
