Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and queries to ensure efficient and reliable reporting.
ETL Processes: Design and manage ETL processes to transform data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Performance Optimization: Optimize report performance through proper data model design, query optimization, and report configuration.
Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iteratively enhance reports and dashboards.
Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud services, and third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data connectivity.
Documentation & Training: Create documentation for data models, processes, and reports. Conduct training sessions to empower users to leverage Power BI effectively.
Troubleshooting: Address any issues related to data accuracy, visualizations, and report performance.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in developing BI solutions, particularly with Power BI, and a strong background in BI development and reporting.
Leadership experience, with the ability to lead a team while still being deeply involved in hands-on technical work.
Solid technical expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Experience with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and transformation.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to debug and troubleshoot complex BI and data issues.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in task allocation, project management, and ensuring that BI solutions are delivered on time and meet business needs.
Fluent in English.
