We offer a stable, growth-oriented and professional career.As an Aeronautical Engineer, you will work into an Engineering Department Part 145 as a Planning & Engineering Coordinator, providing comprehensive and professional support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - PLANNING & ENGINEERING COORDINATOR:
Reports directly to the Maintenance Director, is responsible to:
• Keep oversight of inspection plans for aircraft going in for maintenance, and while undergoing base maintenance. It is
essential to have a proper plan for required manpower, tooling and parts for the activities in the hangar, so maintenance can
be carried out with optimum efficiency;
• Evaluating special tasks raised by the engineers for planning purposes on the inspection where the requirement/s need
further evaluation and parts for any required repairs he will report to the Maintenance Director who will discuss the contacted
operator/customer;
• Contact the OEMs for any additional support needed;
• Receiving the documentation from customers (work orders) and from manufacturers (maintenance data) and distributing
those, as necessary;
• Maintaining the record of published AD, ASB, SB or other applicable maintenance data (excluded the evaluation of these);
• Engineering support to maintenance activities;
• Planning the production activities;
• Maintaining the archive of maintenance records;
• Preparing the work package in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, includes job cards and other maintenance data;
• Manage the procurement of parts and other material services required for the maintenance;
• Assists the Maintenance Director in perform his technical duties.
The Planning & Engineering coordinator is assisted by Planning and Engineer Officers.
Profile and skills:
• Engineering degree or similar industry qualification;
• Knowledge of Part-145 & any other relevant regulations (preference)
• Competent in the use of general database and Microsoft Office applications;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Portuguese and English (Mandatory);
• Responsible, team oriented, resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
• Motivated and committed to Continuous Improvement;
• Flexible in approach and adaptable to change;
• Excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Takes initiative with desire to look at things from a different perspective.
