Must Have:

- Ability to Design Complex System Architectures with reusable components;
- Advanced technical knowledge of 5G software architectures;
- Advanced technical knowledge of embedded tools (e.g. Yocto), IoT and API integration, concepts on edge and cloud computing (e.g. federated learning, cloud-to-edge).
- A natural inclination to explore new technologies;
- Experience in build/buy/borrow technology decisions;
- Technical requirement specification and solution design;
- Technical writing skills, ability to brainstorm ideas in a collaborative environment;
- Experience collaborating on proposal writing for EU funding opportunities;
- Experience with public speaking and writing;
- Active contribution to day-to-day activities and project documentation and reporting;
- Operations of the projects and business development activities related to R&I proposals;
- Designing and supervising internships.

Nice to have:

- Identify funding opportunities in EU programmes and align with Ubiwhere's overall strategy and product roadmap;
- Lead and manage the proposal writing processes for EU funding opportunities;
- Define use cases that meet the funding opportunities and are aligned with the company’s strategy and the products’ roadmap;
- Establish new and reinforce partnerships with external stakeholders from the R&I community via networks of partners, events as well as ongoing R&I projects;
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams on the roadmap;
- History of contribution to open source projects.

What you’ll need:

- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or similar;
- English proficiency, written and spoken;
- Ability to travel;
- Learning ability, adaptability and pro-activity;
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment set priorities, and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercise good judgment in all work-related activities, and work effectively with sensitive subject matter.
